Garofali bites on Big Apple

Daniel Garofali is one of my favorite models as I said many times before, I contacted him through facebook cause I want to post about him in my blog and for my surprise he answered immediately, I really think that all models should be kind of him that take nothing to answer back to his fans, he sent me this press release from DNA Magazine on December of 2010 to share with us and once again thanx a lot for your help Daniel.

After spending a month in the US undertaking meetings with high-profile agents and working with world- class photographers, Daniel Garofali achieved a career changing
opportunity, signing with world famous Modelling agency Wilhelmina Models, whose clients among supermodels include Fergie and Beyonce.
Garofali, originally from Penrith, began his career in the Entertainment Industry at the age of 10 gaining a role in a Japanese TVC after he went to his Fathers audition and jumped in front of the camera, booking the gig. Ever since then Garofali has maintained a successful career as a Professional Entertainer with the main focus as a commercial dancer working on performances and music videos with artist such as Duffy, Marcia and Deni Hines, Scarlett Belle and Kylie Minogue performing on shows such as So You Think You can Dance, Australia’s Next Top Model, Hey Hey its Saturday, MTV Video Music Awards and the Arias.
Daniel Garofali was born on the 8/1/1987 and grew up in the Western Suburbs of Sydney. He attended Mary MacKillop Primary School and St.Dominics College and trained at Dance Creation Studios and Dance Tech Studios before moving to the McDonald College of Performing Arts where many well-known Australians nurtured their craft.
Daniel Garofali then embarked on a modelling career as he left his teens. Not only did he book campaigns and model for the Sydney Opera House, Aussiebum, Myer with Jennifer Hawkins, Bonds, Speedo with Lara Bingle, and Cartier Fashion Shows in Hong Kong but he also became the face of Marcuse Swimwear, Build a Better Body Health Supplements, Oscar Calvo Menswear and Davroe Haircare.
Daniel also presented Fitness Equipment on Channel Seven’s The Morning Show.
His profile in Australia also gained him a 2010 nomination for Top 50 Cleo Magazine’s
Bachelor of the Year.

“Australia’s Daniel Garofali is just about the hardest-working model in the business. Whether he’s modeling, dancing in video clips, filming abroad with a pop artist or grabbing
attention as one of Cleo’s 50 Eligible Bachelors, Daniel is constantly on the go. No wonder: he’s classically proportioned, chiselled, muscular and sexy.”

DNA Magazine, 2010
As a teenager, Wilhelmina Models were simply the setting for a MTV reality show but now for Garofali, it is his own reality, planning to relocate to NYC in early 2011 to fulfil his three year contract.
